The National Foundation of Dentistry for the Handicapped (NFDH) is a charitable affiliate of the American Dental Association. Through a nationwide network of more than 13,700 dentists and 2,800 dental laboratories, they help the most vulnerable people including disabled, elderly, and others who cannot afford necessary treatment.
The Illinois affiliate of the NFDH recently raised $10,000 through the "Giving Smiles" raffle. Its statewide network has donated over $8.3 million in procedures to citizens "who had nowhere else to turn for seriously-neglected problems."
